Nawa Ancestral Temple

The 1st Nvwa Cultural Festival will be celebrated in Qinan County of Tianshui City on April 12th of this Year . Nvwa was siad to be a matriarch in the matriachal society thousands and thounsands of years ago . There are many fantastic and amazing stories about her , one of which is well - known in China for her making people of the clay . Reputedly the birthplace of Nawa is Longcheng  Town, about 45 kilometers away from Qinan County , in which there is a Nvwa Cave where Nvwa once lived .
