The famous dance drama ¡°Dunhuang My Dreamland¡±, created and produced by Lanzhou Song and Dance Theatre, will perform in Madrid, capital of Spain, for one and a half months. Nearly one hundred player and workers arrived here on Feb.1st.   Morning Jan 31st, the Dunhuang My Dreamland groups hold a news release conference in Apollo Theatre of Madrid. Nearly 20 units of media joined the conference, such as TVE, Madrid TV, newspaper of ABC, Elpais and so on. After the conference, the groups played sections of program for units of media in Spain.   Qiu Xiaoqi and Zhuang Xiaoli, Chinese ambassador to Spain and cultural counselor separately, attended the news conference. On the occasion of Art year or Art Festival, according to Qiu ambassador, the coming of elaborate dance drama from Lanzhou Song and Dance Theatre increases the content of Chinese Art Festival hold in Spain greatly. He believed that the comprehension between two countries will be deepened through the communication of culture.     Tale of the silk road ¡°Dunhuang My Dreamland¡±   Young painter Mogao proceeded to Dunhuang in pursuit of the highest realm of lofty thought in art. On his way to the desert he was wounded, and his life was in danger. A passer-by heroine Yueya saved him, Not long after, they met again at Dunhuang and fell in love. The Great General ,Yueya¡äs father opposed their relationship and forced his daughter to choose a husband man among the rich and famous men. Yueya decided to run away to seek her true love. They appointed to meet in the cave, but they were surrounded by the Great General's army amidst blood and fire Yueya saved Mogao's life again, but she lost her life and turned into a spring. With great sorrow, Mogao used the spring water to embellish his pens and wrote a song of art-Dunhuang caves. The Mogao Grotto and the Yueya Spring are still left in Dunhuang and they will immortal in centuries to come.
