China may build the first strategic oil reserve, which is the largest in China at present, of the west in Lanzhou to store crude from Kazakhstan, the crude is transported by the pipeline engineering of west crude and oil products, which belongs to China National Petroleum Corp, also revealed by the Corp.

Crude from Kazakhstan will be injected into the strategic oil reserve in Gansu, the well-informed person from CNPC. A oil storage, which can contain 10 million ton, will be built in Gansu to store the crude and oil products.
