According to the Gansu Financial Working Conference held in Lanzhou on 26^th, Mar, Gansu is competent to set up a regional financial center of Northwest China, so the provincial government would adopt 20 contents of policies in a full effort on the significant project.

Since the West Development Strategy was implemented, the construction of a regional financial has been an internal and urgent need for the regional economic development of Northwest China, as well as the inevitable choice for Gansu province to breakthrough the bottle-neck of economic development, implement Industry Strong Province Strategy, set up long-term system for new countryside construction and develop modern service industry. Thus, the provincial government would decide to set up special leading group, meanwhile, found an Experts Consultative Committee of Provincial Government’ Financial Development Strategy (ECCPGFDS), and draw a blueprint for construction of the regional financial center of Northwest China as soon as possible. In addition, 20 specific items of policies and measures would be taken to quicken the construction of the great project, i.e. security and re-security risk compensation mechanism, credit data platform for medium and small enterprises, development funds in capital market, green channels for enterprises going public and so on.
